This 5 British pound sterling note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of England from 1962 to 1966. It is a blue note that bears the signature of Jasper Quintus Hollom and measures 140 mm x 85 mm. Its obverse side features Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side shows a seated Britannia with a shield and laurel leaf. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of laureate heads. The note was demonetized in 1973. Additionally, it is a gem uncirculated note that is qualified for Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ) and has above average centering. Therefore, it is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
