Reviews:

The Great Britain 50 Pound Banknote from 2006 features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. A seated Britannia, holographic patch, and a pyramid designed for the partially sighted is printed on the front design. At the back is a portrait of Sir John Houblon, the first Governor of the Bank of England. An 18th-century Bank of England gatekeeper in uniform, and Sir Houblons house in Threadneedle Street, London is also added on the back design. The note is 156 x 85 mm in size and is equipped with a Windowed security thread to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would show an image of Queen Elizabeth II.
