The Great Britain 50 Pounds Banknote was used by the Bank of England in 2010. It has hints of red, pink, and orange. Its obverse features the Bank of England seal, the Bank of England headquarters in London, and Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse depicts English manufacturer Matthew Boulton and a horse with a rider and carriage outside of Boulton’s Soho factory building. It also shows a Whitbread steam engine, cogs, and Boulton’s Scottish business partner James Watt. The note contains solid and windowed Motion security threads. Its watermark reveals Queen Elizabeth II and an electrotype denomination. It is 156 x 85 mm in size and is signed by Victoria Cleland. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
