This used 5 British pound note is part of the second series of special vouchers used by the British Armed Forces for their stations in Germany, Austria, Japan, and Singapore in 1948. The purple, yellow, pink, and green special voucher measures 147 mm x 80 mm and features the denomination and guilloches on both sides. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a wavy line pattern watermark.
