This Greece 1,000 Drachmae banknote from 1970 is part of the 1954-2001 series. The obverse side of the note features a bust of Zeus, the King of the gods of Mount Olympus and the thunder god in ancient Greek mythology. Along with the Epidaurus Amphitheatre in Greece. The reverse side of the note features a portrait of a woman and an aerial view of Hydra Island. The note measures 158 x 82 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread to enhance its security features. The notes watermark is Head of Efivos of Andikythira
