This used 1,000 Greek drachma note is part of the 1939 series of notes issued by the Trapeza tis Ellados. It is dated 1 January 1939 and signed by Emmanuel Tsouderos and Andreas Papadimitriou. Its obverse side shows a portrait of a woman. Its reverse side shows a portrait of Athena and a view of the Parthenon on the Acropolis in Athens. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark. Its dimensions are 196 mm x 92 mm.
