This used 2 billion Greek drachma note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Greece. It is a gray and green note that is dated 11 October 1944, bears the signature of Andreas Papadimitriou, and measures 140 mm x 63 mm. Its obverse side features a Parthenon frieze depicting men with sacrificial cattle. Its reverse side shows the denomination, decorative framing, and guilloches. Though the note does not have a security thread or a watermark, it has a serial number with prefix letters. The note was eventually demonetized.
