This used 5 million Greek drachma note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Greece. It is a brown note that is dated 20 July 1944, bear the signatures of Spyridon Chatzikyriacus and M. Pierros, and measures 140 mm x 62 mm. Its obverse side features the Arethusa found on the dekadrachm of Syracuse. Its reverse side shows the denomination. The banknote does not have a security thread or a watermark. However, it has a large serial number with prefix letters.
