This uncirculated 50 Greek drachma note is a standard circulation note from 1939 that bears the signatures of Emmanuel Tsouderos and Andreas Papadimitriou. It is a green note that measures 143 mm x 73 mm. Its obverse side shows the head of Hesiod, the White Tower of Thessaloniki, and a sailing boat. Its reverse side shows the marble bas-relief of Poseidon, Apollo, and Artemis from the Parthenon. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has an Athena watermark.
