This uncirculated 500,000 Greek drachma note is a banknote issued by the Bank of Greece during the Axis occupation. It is a black, brown, and green note that is dated 20 March 1944, bear the signatures of Spyridon Chatzikyriakos and M. Pierros, and measures 140 mm x 62 mm. Its obverse side features a portrait of Zeus. Its reverse side shows the denomination and guilloches. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark. However, it has a large serial number with suffix letters. It was also demonetized.
