This uncirculated 500 Greek drachma note is dated 01 November 1968 and signed by Dimitrios Galanis. It is an olive standard circulation note that measures 158 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side shows the Eleusian Relief that depicts Demeter, Triptolemos, and Persephone. Its reverse side shows the ancient plaque from Knossos that depicts a wild goat and its kids and an assortment of fruits. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of the head of Ephebus from Antikythera. The note is demonetized.
