Reviews:

This uncirculated half-quetzal banknote from Guatemala is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Guatemala and printed by the Canadian Bank Note. It is a brown, green, orange, red, and yellow banknote that is dated 4 January 1989, bear the signatures of Lizardo Arturo Sosa Lopez, Fabian Bernardo Pira Arrivillaga, and Mario Roberto Illescas Aguirre, and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows a flying quetzal bird, a stylized temple with glyphs, and a portrait of national hero Tecun Uman. Its reverse side depicts a view of Temple I in Tikal and Mayan glyphs. Though the banknote does not have a security thread or a watermark, it has a registration device that shows a Mayan man seated with a cup. The details of the banknote have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
