Reviews:

This uncirculated half-quetzal note from Guatemala is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Guatemala and printed by Harrison and Sons. It is a brown, green, orange, red, and yellow banknote that is dated 28 August 1996, bear the signatures of Sergio Alfonso Gonzalez Navas, Willy Waldemar Zapata Sagastume, and Luis Arturo Aguilar Solares, and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows a flying quetzal bird, a stylized temple with glyphs, and a portrait of national hero Tecun Uman. Its reverse side depicts a view of Temple I in Tikal and Mayan glyphs. Though the note does not have a security thread or a watermark, it has a registration device that shows a Mayan man seated with a cup.
