Reviews:

This uncirculated 1 Guatemalan quetzal note is dated 17 October 2012 and signed by President Edgar Baltazar Barquin Duran and General Manager Sergio Francisco Recinos Rivera. It is a green, orange, and red polymer note that measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features a flying quetzal bird, a stylized temple with glyphs, a Mayan bird, and a portrait of Jose Maria Orellana. Its reverse side features a standing Mayan man and glyphs from the jade Leyden plate a circular Mayan carving (ara de Tikal), and a view of the Bank of Guatemala headquarters. Because the note is made of polymer substrate, it does not have a security thread or a watermark. However, it has a Mayan glyph registration device. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
