This Guatemala 20 Quetzales banknote is part of the 2012 issues of the Bank of Guatemala. The paper bill has hints of violet, light blue, purple, green, and black. Its obverse design depicts a flying quetzal bird, a stylized temple, an embossed glyph, and a portrait of forefather and head of state, Mariano Galvez. The center of its reverse features delegates signing the declaration of independence of Central America.
