Guatemala 20 Quetzales Banknote, 2018, P-124g, UNC

This uncirculated 20 Guatemalan quetzal note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Guatemala. It is a violet, light blue, green, purple, and black banknote that is dated 31 January 2018, bears the signatures of Sergio Francisco Recinos Rivera and Oscar Roberto Monterroso Sazo, and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows a flying quetzal bird, a stylized temple, a purple-to-gold SPARK scroll feature, and a portrait of the forefather and head of state Mariano Galvez. Its reverse side depicts the signing of the Declaration of Independence of Central America. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized BANCO DE GUATEMALA 20, a flag registration device, a Mayan man registration device, and a watermark of Mariano Galvez with an electrotype 20.
