Guatemala 5 Quetzales Banknote, 2013, P-122, UNC

The Guatemala 5 Quetzales Banknote from 2013 is part of the 2010 - 2018 series. Its obverse side features a flying quetzal bird, an open book, a stylized temple with glyphs, a seated howling dog, a Mayan mask, a portrait of President and General Justo Rufino Barrios Auyon, and the national flag. The reverse side depicts a Mayan mask, an open book, a school scene with a girl writing on blackboard and students at desks, a teacher helping a young boy write, and the national flag. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and does not contain any security threads however when placed under a UV light, a shadow image of Justo Rufino Barrios Auyon is visible.
