The Guernsey 1 Pound Banknote was issued by the States of Guernsey between 1991 and 2016. It has hints of green, blue, yellow, and brown. Its obverse features the 1830 Market Square with shoppers and tented stalls. It also depicts a Guernsey lily underprint pattern, and olive branches flanking the seal of Bailiwick. The reverse of the note depicts the 1840 Royal Court building in St. Peter Port. It also portrays Daniel de Lisle Brock, the Bailiff's hat, and Brock's coat of arms. The note contains a solid security thread with printed GUERNSEY. Its watermark reflects the seal of the Bailiwick shield pattern. The note is 128 x 65 mm in size. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
