The reverse side features the Royal Court building in St. Peter Port in 1840, the Brock Coat of Arms, and a portrait of Daniel de Lisle Brock, the Bailiff of Guernsey from 1821 to 1842. The banknote's security features include a solid security thread printed with GUERNSEY and a seal of Bailiwick shield pattern watermark.
