The States of Guernsey sold 300,000 1-pound notes that had the TD/LR prefix and featured Thomas de la Rue instead of Daniel de Lisle Brock on the back of the note to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Thomas de la Rues first commercial venture. This note has a Paper Money Guaranty of 67 which means though it had minor handling, the note still has above average margins and registration. The obverse side of the note has a Guernsey lily underprint pattern, the seal of Bailiwick flanked by olive branches, and the market scene circa 1822. The reverse side has Thomas de la Rue, a Guernsey lily underprint pattern, a Fountain Street scene in St. Peter Port circa 1799, and the front page of Le Miroir Politique. The note has a solid security thread with printed GUERNSEY, but bears no watermark. The note measures 128 mm by 65 mm.
