Guernsey 20 Pounds Banknote, 1996 ND, P-58c, UNC

The Guernsey 20 Pound banknote from the 1996 series depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Its front design features the SS Sarnia passenger vessel as a registration device, the St. James Concert Hall in St. Peter Port, a Guernsey lily, an olive branch flanking the seal of Bailiwick, and a portrait of Her Majesty the Queen. The reverse side features the St. Sampsons Church, the Vale Castle, the SS Sarnia passenger vessel, two sailboats in St. Sampsons Harbour, Freesia flowers, and trees. The note is 149 x 80 mm in size and contains a solid security thread printed with GUERNSEY as part of its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of Queen Elizabeth II.
