This Guernsey 20 Pound from 2012 was issued to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Its obverse side features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a ferry ship as a registration device, a Guernsey lily, a foil flower, an olive branch flanking the Diamond Jubilee seal, and the St. James Concert Hall in St. Peter Port. The reverse side features the St. Sampsons Church, the Vale Castle, a ferry ship, two sailboats, flowers, and trees. The note is 149 x 80 mm in size and contains a windowed security thread with demetalized GUERNSEY to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of Queen Elizabeth II and cornerstones.
