This 20 Guernsey pound banknote commemorates the 100th anniversary of the First World War. Its obverse side contains the Guernsey lily, the St. James Concert Hall in St. Peters Port, a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, and the Bailiwick seal surrounded by poppy flowers. Its reverse side contains poppy flowers, and two sailboats sailing near Vale Castle and St. Sampsons Church. The note has a ferry ship registration device, a TG/W (The Great War) prefix, a windowed security thread with demetalized GUERNSEY, a watermark of Queen Elizabeth II, and Cornerstones. The note is 149 mm long and 80 mm wide. It is also in uncirculated condition and authenticated by Banknote World experts.
