This uncirculated 20 Guernsey pound banknote was issued by the States of Guernsey in 2018 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War I. It is a red, blue, green, brown, orange, and yellow banknote that is dated 2018, bears the signature of Chief Accountant Bethan Haines, and measures 149 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side shows a Guernsey lily, the St. James Concert Hall in St. Peter Port, poppy flowers surrounding the Bailiwick seal, a foil poppy flower, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side depicts poppy flowers and trees, St. Sampson’s Church, Vale Castle, and two sailboats. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized GUERNSEY, a special TG/W prefix, a ferry ship registration device, and a watermark of Queen Elizabeth II with Cornerstones.
