The 5 Guernsey pound of 1994 is part of a family of banknotes that all depict a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse side. The obverse side of the note also highlights the seal of Bailiwick surrounded by an olive branch wreath and the Town Church in St. Peter Port. The reverse side of the note features the images of camellia flowers, the Hanois Lighthouse of 1862, and a view of Fort Grey in Rocquaine Bay. The note has a Euphrosyne Kendal lifeboat registration device, a watermark of Queen Elizabeth II, and a solid security thread with GUERNSEY printed on it. The note measures 135 mm long and 70 mm wide. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
