The Guernsey 50 Pounds Banknote from 1994 is part of the 1994-1996 series. Its obverse side depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a LInvention sailing ship as registration device, a Guernsey lily, an olive branches flanking the seal of Bailiwick, and the Royal Court House in St. Peter Port. The reverse side features the St. Andrews Church, a Pointe de la Moye landscape, a La Gran mere stone carving, a Letter of Marque, Wild Dog rose, and the LInvention sailing ship. The note is 156 x 85 mm in size and contains a Solid security thread with printed GUERNSEY, and a watermark image of Queen Elizabeth II, to enhance its security features. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
