Guernsey 50 Pounds Banknote, 1996 ND, P-59, UNC, Prefix A

This uncirculated 50 Guernsey pound note was introduced by the States of Guernsey in 1996 and signed by State Treasurer D. P. Trestain. It is a brown, green, yellow, pink, and blue note that measures 156 mm x 85 mm. Its obverse side shows a Guernsey lily, the seal of Bailiwick, a view of the Royal Court House in St. Peter Port, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side features the Pointe de la Moye landscape, La Gran’mere stone carving, the Letter of Marque, a Wild Dog rose, and St. Andrew’s Church. Security features include a serial number with an A-prefix, a L’Invention sailing ship registration device, a solid security thread with printed GUERNSEY, and a watermark of Queen Elizabeth II.
