This uncirculated 1,000 Guinean franc banknote is a commemorative banknote issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Guinean currency. It is a tan banknote that is dated 1 March 2010, bear the signatures of Finance Minister Kemoko Keita and Central Bank Governor Aboubakar Kagbe Toure, and measures 139 mm x 68 mm. Its obverse side shows a woman with plaits, the national coat of arms, a drum, and the 50th-anniversary logo. Its reverse side depicts two dump trucks and a steam shovel at an open pit bauxite mine and a mask. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized GNF 1000, a vertical serial number with 4-mm tall prefix letters, and a watermark of a woman with plaits, an electrotype RG, and Cornerstones.
