Guinea 1,000 Francs Banknote, 2010, P-43a, UNC, Commemorative, 50th Anniversary of Central Bank and Guinean Currency

This Guinea 1000 Franc banknote was issued in 2010 was issued commemorate the 50th anniversary of Guinean currency. Its obverse side features the national emblem, the 50th-anniversary logo, and a portrait of a woman with a plaits hairstyle. On the reverse are two dump trucks and a steam shovel at an open-pit bauxite mine and a traditional mask. The note is 139 x 68 mm in size and contains a windowed security thread with demetalized GNF 1000 to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of a woman with plaits, electrotype RG, and cornerstones.
