Guinea 1,000 Francs Banknote, 2010, P-43a, UNC

The tan 1,000 Guinean franc banknote is part of the series of banknotes issued in 2010 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Guinean currency. Its front side shows a woman with plaited hair, the national emblem of Guinea, a traditional drum and the 50th anniversary logo. Its backside depicts a steam shovel and two dump trucks working at an open pit bauxite mine and a miner wearing a mask. The note has a windowed security thread with demetalized GNF 1000 and a watermark of the woman in plaits, an electrotyped RG, and Cornerstones. Its dimensions are 139 mm by 68 mm. The note is in uncirculated condition.
