The Guinea 1,000 Franc banknote from 2015 has a dimension of 139 x 68 mm. Its front design bears a portrait of a woman with a plaits hairstyle, pigeons taking flight, the bank logo as a registration device, and the national emblem. The reverse side features two dump trucks and a steam shovel at an open-pit bauxite mine, a stalk of bananas, and the map of Guinea. The banknote's security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized GNF 1000 and a watermark image of a woman and electrotype RG 1000.
