The Guinea 10,000 Franc banknote from 2010 was issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Guinean currency. Its front design bears the 50th-anniversary logo, the national emblem, three cowrie shells, pineapples, and a portrait of a young girl. The reverse side features the Lady of Maali rock formation on Mount Loura and a green field with trees. The note measures 153 x 78 mm and contains a 3-mm red-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized GNF 10000 to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of a young girl, electrotype RG, and cornerstones.
