The Guinea 100 Francs banknote from 2012 is part of the 1998 - 2012 series. Its front design depicts the national emblem, a female carving, and a portrait of a woman with a headscarf. The reverse side features a wooden carving and local farmers harvesting bananas in the field. The note is smaller in size compared to the preceding series and measures 130 x 64 mm however it contains a solid security thread for added security.
