Guinea 20,000 Francs Banknote, 2018, P-50a.2, UNC

The Guinea 20,000 Franc Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea in 2018 with a color combination of blue, green, orange, and purple. Depicted on its obverse is a Guinean woman wearing a head scarf. It also shows pigeons in flight and the coat of arms of Guinea. The reverse of the note features the nation’s map, the hydroelectric dam in Kaleta, and electricity transmission towers. Security features of the note include a bank logo registration device, a 3-mm red-to-green windowed security thread with a demetallized GNF 20000. It also contains the signatures of Malado Kaba and Lounceny Nabe and a watermark that reveals a Guinean woman and an electrotype 20000. The note was printed by De La Rue and is 148 x 70 mm in size. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
