Guinea 5,000 Francs Banknote, 2010, P-44a, UNC

This Guinea 5,000 Franc banknote was issued in 2010 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Guinean currency. Its obverse side depicts the country's national emblem, the 50th-anniversary logo, a Baga Nimba mask, and a portrait of a woman with a cimier hairstyle. The reverse side features the Kinko Dam, the first Guinean dam that inaugurated in 1966, and a traditional mask. The note measures 151 x 76 mm in size and contains a windowed security thread with demetalized GNF 5000 to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of a woman, electrotype RG, and Cornerstones.
