The Guinea Bissau 1,000 Pesos Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Guinea Bissau in 1978. Featured on the obverse of this green bank is Amilcar Cabral wearing a cap. It also shows the coat of arms, a stylized woman, and a man weaving with a modern loom. The reverse of the note shows the Aposteosis to the Victory mural depicting nude men and women. Also on the reverse are bananas, a drum, food, and a horse. The note contains a solid security thread. It also bears a watermark that reveals Amilcar Cabral. It measures 161 x 67 mm. This particular note is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
