The Guyana 100 Dollar banknote from 2006 was released with a slightly modified design compared to the preceding series. The note has a larger numeral for the denomination in the upper left front with a different screen trap background pattern. Its obverse side features the bank logo and the country's map while the reverse side features the St. George Cathedral in Georgetown. The note measures 156 x 65 mm and contains a windowed security thread with demetalized GUYANA and a watermark image of a red macaw parrot head, cornerstones, and electrotype 100.
