The Guyana 5 Dollars Banknote was released by the Bank of Guyana between 1966 and 1992. Featured on its obverse are the bank logo and the Kaieteur Falls. The reverse of the green banknote depicts a man with a machete cutting a sugar cane in a field. It also shows a conveyor with buildings and palm trees. The paper bill bears a solid security thread, however, it does not have a watermark. It is 156 x 65 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
