Customer reviews

Part of the first series of banknotes that commemorates the bicentennial anniversary of Haitian independence from France, the 100 Haitian gourdes banknote features both French and Haitian Creole texts on both sides of the note. The front side of the note General Henry Christophe, the only monarch of the Kingdom of Haiti, and a scene of soldiers fighting in town. The back side features the Henry Christophe Citadel (Citadelle Lafernere), located atop the Bonnet a L Eveque mountain in Milot province. The note has a holographic stripe, windowed security thread with demetalized BRH, and varieties of watermarks. The note measures 158 mm by 64 mm.
