This set consists of 4 pieces of Hoexter 25-50 Pfennig Notgeld from 1921. The banknote's front design is printed with the city's seal in the center along with the denomination and German text. The reverse side features a portrait of German poet August Heinrich Hoffmann famously known for writing the lyrics of Das "Lied der Deutschen". The back design is also printed with German text and group of women in white holding a spear. The note does not contain any security threads but watermark Hexagons with three stars however it measures 80 x 60 mm.
