The Honduras 1 Lempira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Honduras in 2012 with embossed Braille dots and high relief vertical bars to help the vision-impaired. The banknote is predominantly red with hints of green. Featured on its obverse are the coat of arms of Honduras and an in-profile portrait of Lempiras wearing a headband. The reverse of the paper bill depicts ruins of the ball court and stairs at Copan and a Mayan monolith. The note does not contain a security thread and watermark. The banknote is 156 x 67 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It also bears a radar serial number EY6151516 and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
