This Honduras 10 Lempiras banknote that depicts a portrait of Jose Trinidad Cabanas was issued in 2014. The former President and military General played a big role in Honduran history during the Civil War in 1826-29. On the banknote's front left, is the national emblem. The reverse side of the note features modern buildings, buses, and cars on the campus of City University in Tegucigalpa.
