This uncirculated 2 Honduran lempira note is dated 01 March 2012 and signed by Finance Secretary Wilfredo Cerrato R., President Maria Elena Mondragon de Villar, and Bank Manager Hector Mendez Calix. It is a yellow, blue, and purple note that measures 156 mm long and 67 mm wide. Its obverse side features the national emblem and a portrait of former president Marco Aurelio Soto, a liberal leader responsible for the establishment of the national library in 1880. Its reverse side shows a view of Tiger Island and the port city of Amapala where Marco Soto was inaugurated. The note does not have any security threads or watermarks.
