This uncirculated 5 Honduran lempira banknote is a standard circulation note that is dated 12 December 1996 and signed by President Hugo Noe Pino, Governor Jesus Ernesto Anariba, and Finance Minister Juan F. Ferrera. It is a black, blue, purple, green, and orange note that measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms and the profile of General Francisco Morazan. Its reverse side depicts the Battle of Trinidad on 11 November 1827. Though the note does not have a watermark, it has a solid security thread with printed BANTRAL.
