This uncirculated 5 Honduran lempira note is dated 01 March 2012 and signed by Central Bank President Maria Elena Mondragon de Villar, Manager Hector Mendez Calix, and Finance Secretary Wilfredo Cerrato R. It is a gray, blue, green, pink, and green note that measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the coat of arms of Honduras and a portrait of General Francisco Morazan Quezada, a leader who enacted liberal reforms in the new Federal Republic of Central America. Its reverse side depicts the Battle of Trinidad on November 11, 1827.
