Honduras 5 Lempiras Banknote, 2012, P-98a, UNC

The 5 Honduran lempira banknote is part of the series of banknotes issued by the Banco Central de Honduras in 2012 that have added features to aid the sight-impaired. It has black, blue, purple, green, and orange colors. Its obverse side shows the national emblem of Honduras and the profile of General Francisco Morazan, one of the presidents of the Federal Republic of Central America from 1830 to 1839. Its reverse side portrays the Battle of Trinidad in November 11, 1827. The note does not have a security thread and a watermark. However, it measures 156 mm long and 67 mm wide.
