This uncirculated 5 Honduran lempira banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Honduras in 2016 with embossed Braille dots and vertical bars in high relief to help the sight-impaired. The banknote comes in a combination of black, blue, purple, green, and orange colors and bears the signatures of Bank Manager Hector Mendez Calix, President Manuel de Jesus Bautista Flores, and Secretary of Finance Wilfredo Cerrato Jr. Its obverse features the coat of arms of Honduras and a portrait of General Francisco Morazan who served as the head of state of the country. The back of the paper bill is a depiction of the Battle of Trinidad on November 11, 1827. The banknote is 156 x 67 mm in size and has no security thread and watermark.
