This uncirculated 500 Honduran lempira banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Honduras. It is a red and purple banknote that is dated 12 June 2014, bear the signatures of President Marlon Tabora Munoz, Governor Hector Mendez Caliz, and Finance Minister Wilfredo Cerrato R., and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the La Merced Church and a portrait of Ramon Rosa, a prominent lawyer and liberal writer. Its reverse side depicts the Rosary of San Juancito in 1893. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized BCH 500, a mailbox registration device, and a watermark of Ramon Rosa with an electrotype BCH.
