The Hong Kong 10 dollars banknote is part of the family notes issued in 1995 depicting on its reverse the new Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building which was completed in 1990. The Bauhinia blakeana flower, which is also known as the Hong Kong Orchid tree flower, also appears on the back replacing the nations Coat of Arms. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has a repeater serial number. The front displays a mythological carp fish leaping out of the water. Moreover, the bank logo pattern is visible in the underprint. This 138 x 69 mm paper bill has a solid security thread and a watermark showing an Allegorical helmeted warrior head and SCB.
