Its front design bears the crowned Coat of Arms depicting a lion and unicorn rampant, a sailing ship at sea, and Chinese junks. The reverse side features two reclining lion statues flanking the 4th HSBC headquarters building in Central District, Hong Kong with a Chinese junk and modern freight ship in the background. The note measures 138 x 69 mm and contains a solid security thread and a lions head watermark in profile for added security.
